This Sunday we are delighted to welcome Sara Kandiah from A Rocha as our guest speaker. Sara will be sharing with us on our Creationtide theme, exploring the pressing question: "Our Challenge". Her talk will invite us to reflect on the environmental challenges facing our world today, the role we each play as stewards of God's creation, and the practical steps we can take to care for the planet entrusted to us. It promises to be an inspiring and thought-provoking session, full of insight, encouragement, and hope for the future. Come prepared to be challenged, inspired, and motivated to live out your calling in caring for God's world.
Alongside our reflections this week, we invite you to enjoy this song, Boundless - Renovation. Its words remind us to honour God's gift of creation, repent of the harm we have done, and join in the work of renewal - restoring both church and earth so that hope and healing may flourish here and now. You can listen here.
Meanwhile, over at Knowl Hill this week, the congregation will be joyfully celebrating their Harvest Festival Service, giving thanks for God's provision and the abundance of the season.

Harvest in the Parish
Over the next two Sundays we are celebrating Harvest, a time to give thanks for God's goodness and provision. It's a wonderful opportunity to come together as a church family to rejoice in the fruits of the earth, to share generously with others, and to reflect on how we can live with gratitude and care for God's creation.
Here are a few things to put in your diary…
Join us as we give thanks to God for His goodness and the blessings of the harvest. There will be joyful hymns, prayers, and a chance to reflect on God's abundant provision for us all. We will have two services in the Parish:
Sunday 21st September | St Peter's | 11.15am Harvest Festival
Sunday 28th September | St Mary's | 9.45am All Age Harvest Festival
Collections & Donations
We will also be collecting donations for those in need, so if you're able, please bring along tins, packets, non-perishable items, or men's toiletries to the Harvest Service you will attend or drop them into the office during opening times. St Mary's will be collecting for Yeldall Manor and St Peter's for Foodshare, Maidenhead.
After St Peter's Harvest Service on Sunday 21st September, we'll be gathering for a Bring & Share lunch at 12pm – a chance to enjoy a table full of home-cooked favourites, swap recipes, and share stories over a meal together. Whether you bring a dish or simply bring yourself, it's all about fellowship, friendship, and celebrating the blessings of harvest as a community.
HARVEST DECORATING
On Saturday 27th at 10am, we'll be gathering to decorate St Mary's for Harvest. If you can bring along some foliage, flowers, greenery, berries, fruit & vegetables, it would be greatly appreciated – and if you'd like to stay and join in, all the more wonderful! It's always a joyful time of creativity and fellowship as we prepare the church to look its very best for our Harvest celebrations. For more information, please contact Sheila.
