Thursday 11th December 2025

As we reach the Third Sunday of Advent, our journey towards Christmas grows brighter. This Sunday, we pause at the Star of Joy, a beacon of light in the midst of waiting, reminding us that God's joy is already breaking into our world. On our Advent wreath, we will light the third candle - the candle of joy - a gentle but powerful reminder that even in uncertain or challenging times, there is a deep and steady joy to be found in the coming of Christ.

Next week we have our first Christmas Carol service with the Senior Carols & Afternoon Tea (Tuesday 16th Decebmer at 2:30pm). If you have not yet responded to join, please do so by Sunday. You can RSVP online or leave a message and we will pick it up. We look foward to seeing you on Tuesday.

Star of Joy

This Sunday, 7th December, our focus turns to the Star of Peace, the guiding light that leads us not just to a place, but to a promise. Just as the star led the wise men to the Christ child, it calls us to seek and share peace in our own lives and in the world around us. The Star of Peace reminds us that true peace is more than the absence of conflict - it is the presence of God’s love, shining into every corner of our hearts and communities. As we follow this star, we are invited to reflect, act, and become beacons of God’s peace to others.
