PEOPLE’S EMERGENCY BRIEFING

Discovering what a growing climate and nature emergency looks like

The UK faces a growing climate and nature emergency. Yet most people have never been fully briefed on what it means for our lives, our economy and our future.

St Mary’s is hosting a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing, a 50-minute film exploring the challenges and opportunities facing our environment, communities and future.

The event is free, but tickets are required to help us manage numbers.

The film brings together expert insights on topics including climate, nature, food, health, energy and the economy, alongside reactions from people from all walks of life. After the screening, there will be an opportunity for discussion and conversation about practical local responses. We are delighted that Professor Chris Merchant from the University of Reading will help lead the discussion, and local representatives have also been invited.
