Follow the Star and Be Transformed

As we continue our journey following the star, this Sunday, 18th January, we hear the call of Jesus, the Lamb of God, and the invitation to Be Transformed.

When the first disciples hear John the Baptist point to Jesus and say, “Here is the Lamb of God,” they choose to follow. They do not yet know where the journey will lead, but their willingness to follow opens the way for change. Encountering Jesus is not simply about learning more — it is about being transformed.

To follow the Lamb of God is to allow our hearts, minds, and lives to be shaped by Christ. It means letting go of old ways, being open to new possibilities, and trusting that God is at work within us. Transformation may be gradual or surprising, but it always begins with responding to Jesus’ call.

This Sunday we are invited to reflect on how Christ is calling us today. Where might we need to change? What might God be transforming in us, so that we may live more fully as his disciples?

As we follow the star together, may we be open to the transforming love of Christ and the new life he offers.
