HARVEST GIVING
Celebrating what we have. Sharing with those in need
Harvest is for everyone
🌻
As part of our Harvest celebrations this year, we’ll be supporting both Woodley Food Bank and Yeldall.
Woodley Food Bank
Woodley Food Bank provides food to people facing difficult times across Woodley and the surrounding area, including Twyford, Charvil, Earley and Lower Earley. Its aim is simple: to help ensure that no one in our local community has to go hungry.
Harvest is a wonderful opportunity to turn our own gratitude into generosity. If you’re able, please bring a gift of non-perishable food or essential toiletries to our Harvest Festival on Sunday 27th September at St Mary’s. Items such as tinned food, pasta, rice, cereal, long-life milk, tea and coffee, biscuits and toiletries can all help the Food Bank continue providing much-needed food parcels.
Yeldall
Yeldall Manor, a local Christian charity based at Hare Hatch provides residential treatment and rehabilitation for men seeking to overcome drug and alcohol addiction. Its approach to recovery looks at the whole person, helping residents address their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing as they work towards lasting change.
Yeldall has been helping transform lives since 1977, giving men the opportunity to rebuild their lives, relationships and futures. As we celebrate all that we have this Harvest, we have an opportunity to share with a charity doing important work right on our doorstep. As well as the traditional foodstuffs, items such as men’s toiletries and bedding are very much appreciated.
You can also order these directly as well as other items directly through their Amazon Wish List.
