**CANCELLED**
It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of this year’s Christmas on Mill Green event due to the severe storm forecasted. The safety of our community, volunteers, and attendees is our top priority, and the anticipated weather conditions make it unsafe to proceed with the event.
We share in the disappointment of everyone who was looking forward to this festive celebration. Our team explored alternative solutions but, given the unpredictable nature of the storm, the decision to cancel was the only responsible option.
We want to thank all those who contributed their time and effort to organising the event, as well as the community members who planned to join us. Your support means so much, and we are committed to bringing Christmas on Mill Green back even better in the future.
We wish everyone a safe and joyous holiday season and encourage you to celebrate the spirit of Christmas with loved ones.

Here is a glimpse of what’s in store and how you can join in the festive cheer.
Food & Drink
We kick off at 4pm where we’ll embrace the Christmas spirit with delicious treats like mulled wine, mince pies and hot dogs generously provided by our sponsors for a donation. Treat yourself to festive refreshments from our vendors, offering everything from craft beer and fine wine to comforting cups of tea, coffee, and indulgent hot chocolate.
Tree Lighting & Music
Mill Green will come alive with festive music, leading up to the blessing of our magnificent six-meter Christmas tree, donated by local resident Graham Trolley. Join us at 5pm for the magical moment when the Christmas lights come alive! Gather around the tree and sing your favourite carols, accompanied by the uplifting sounds of a live brass band.
Children’s Activities
For children, we have the perfect mix of creativity and sparkle. There will be biscuit decorating and glitter tattoos which you can do throughout the event. There will also be a dancing competition. We ask that children dress to impress in their festive gear, whether that be jumpers, dresses or costumes.

We shall also have the Christmas Raffle featuring some fantastic prizes
