CHRISTMAS DAY

Advent’s watchful waiting gives way to joy as we celebrate the birth of Jesus

Christmas Day marks the joyful end of Advent’s waiting as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the promised Saviour. In the midst of darkness and uncertainty, God chose to come among us in humility, born as a child in Bethlehem. Guided by the Star, the wise men journeyed in faith and hope, trusting God’s leading to find the one who would bring light to the world. That same light still shines today, inviting us to follow Christ, to worship him with open hearts, and to recognise in him God’s love made known for all.
