Sunday Mornings

"The Music Group" comprises singers and instrumentalists, and meets about an hour before the 10.30 service to rehearse the music. New members are always welcome to join. At special occasions (eg Christmas, Easter, Village Festival) the choir is augmented by willing volunteers.

One of the world’s greatest chamber orchestras, The Academy of St Martin in the Fields is renowned for fresh, brilliant interpretations of the world’s most-loved classical music. The wide-ranging programme contained many favourites, including Mozart’s ‘Jupiter’ Symphony No. 41 – regarded by many critics as the greatest symphony in the classical repertoire.

All sponsors received a free glass of wine in the interval!
