Weekly Notices: Thursday 14th March 2024

We hope you will all notice the shine at St Mary's this Sunday (we have our annual Spring Clean this Saturday) where we will be joined by guest speaker Debbie Bruwer from Christian's Against Poverty (CAP). She will help us discover all of the good work that CAP do in helping individuals and families in times of need. She will also be able to update you on how the Churches are supporting CAP in their endeavours to fight poverty.

The Cheat's House

Luke Street takes Jesus further on his journey to Jerusalem, and this week he passes through Jericho. He invites himself to a house in the town - unsurprisingly a house bought with the ill gotten gains of a vertically challenged tax collector who makes up in ingenuity for what he lacks in stature. We all know the story. But what we hope to discover at Junior Church on Sunday is not how good Zacchaeus is at climbing trees but the way his heart grows after he meets Jesus. How fascinating it would be to listen in on their conversation.

All welcome from 3 years to 16 years.

We’re beginning to build up a special Luke Street display which will be ready to view very soon. However, more importantly we’re getter to know Jesus better and learning how to follow him day by day. Come and join us - all welcome.

Are you on the list?

Every year before our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM), we reach out to the Parish to ask you to check if you are on the Electoral Roll. This is the nearest thing we have to a 'Membership List' and forms the basis for many official sets of statistics.

Are you on it? Check the current list at the back of church or online

It was fully renewed in 2019, and so we only need individuals who would like to be added to the list to apply.

Forms are at the back of church or you can download online

Please return completed applications by Sunday 24th March to the Church Office.

For any questions, please contact .
