As we move through June, there's a real sense of summer beginning to settle in - gardens in bloom, longer evenings, and the gentle winding-down of school terms. This past week has brought with it the usual rhythm of prayer and worship, moments of fellowship, and the quiet acts of service that so often go unseen but deeply matter. Thank you to all who have given time, energy, or encouragement in any form.

Looking ahead, we're beginning to prepare for upcoming summer events - including the "Come & Meet" sessions with David, and plans for a joyful summer concert.  As always, there's much to look forward to, and space for everyone to be involved in some way.

May the week ahead bring peace to your heart, purpose to your days, and a deepening awareness of God's presence among us.

On Saturday 28th June the gates open at 1pm for Yeldall Manor's Open Day. There will be a Hog Roast, stalls and games for all the family. The Coach House Studios will also be open, offering taster art experiences. At 3pm there will be a gathering o

On Saturday 28th June the gates open at 1pm for Yeldall Manor's Open Day. There will be a Hog Roast, stalls and games for all the family. The Coach House Studios will also be open, offering taster art experiences. At 3pm there will be a gathering on the main lawn for a joyful service of worship, including testimonies from some former residents. The day will be rounded off by a delicious strawberry tea at 4pm. There is no charge for entry, parking or the games; but a little cash incase you wish to purchase anything is always handy (there will also be a card machine).

On Saturday 5th July at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, Lucy will be ordained by Rt Revd Mary Gregory, Bishop of Reading. All are welcome to join in person or can watch online. Deatils to be shared soon.

Come & Meet

Light Bites & Warm Conversations

We’re holding a series of relaxed “Come & Meet” sessions in August and September. These are informal gatherings over a light bite (Coffee, Lunch or Supper) and are a chance for David to tell you more of his story and to start to explore how God is calling us to be a church at the heart of the community. We’d love you to join us, get to know one another.

Help us give a warm welcome to our new vicar and ask your questions!
