Catering for All Ages

As the average age in our nation steadily increases, the need to be aware of the issues facing the older members of the community becomes more important. Recognising the excellent work of the Pop-In Club and the Lunch Club already running in the village, St Mary's are looking at further ways to ease the growing problem of loneliness and isolation (not just a problem for the elderly.)

 

Home Visiting:

If you, or someone you know, cannot come to church, through illness or impaired ability, then we can come to you, either simply for a cup of tea and a chat, or bring Holy Communion. Please contact the Revd Steve Turville if you would like to be visited in your home (phone 0118 901 6720).

 

Welcome Cafe:

The Hannen Room is open from 2.30pm-4pm every Tuesday afternoon for anyone of any age to come and meet each other for tea/coffee and company.
