Butterflies |
1st and 3rd Wednesdays in the month during Term. |
For preschoolers and their own special adult. Songs, story time, refreshments, craft activity. |

Children's and Young People's Groups |
Sunday mornings and evenings, and mid-week activities. Leaders and helpers always required |

Prayer Groups |
General Prayer Group: Monday mornings 10.00 to 11.00 in the Hannen Room. Prayer & Support Group for the Persecuted Church, 7.30 pm on the second Thursday of each month. Prayer service at 6.00 pm on the third Sunday of the month. |

Christianity Explored |
This is an informal way to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means to follow him. |
A new course will take place during the autumn or winter. |

Breakfast and other informal Meetings |
Men meet on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, usually at The Hannen Room. For Women's meetings, see Woman2Woman |

The Choir - At present, the Choir as such is no longer in existence, and the leadership of singing is with the Music Group---->> |
The Music Group - which provides the music for the Family Service on the second Sunday of the month and on other occasions. It is led by Rosie Creedon and comprises any instruments that can be hit, blown, scraped or strummed! There is also a vocal group to lead the singing.

Bell Ringers - ring at St. Mary's before the 10.30 a.m. service on Sundays, and for weddings and special occasions. Practice every Wednesday 7.45 to 9.15 p.m. Tower Captain is David Sullivan

Sidesmen's duties - include greeting people, issuing books and notice sheets, taking up the collection and tidying up at the Sunday services. |
Reading the Scriptures and leading Intercessions - at the Sunday services and on other occasions |
Serving coffee - after the morning service on Sundays |

Arranging flowers - for the church and altar - Sundays and special days |
Cleaning the church - on Friday mornings. Cleaning the Hannen Room - join a team for a month at a time. |
Cutting the grass - in the Churchyard on Saturday mornings from April to October, and other gardening activities at your own convenience. (Contact Bob Austen ) |

Writing - editing, producing or distributing The Parish News |
Missions -The Church regularly supports by prayer, giving, and by maintaining an information flow to and from a number of organisations which are listed on the "Links" page. |
